The game includes 50 doubled sided game tiles, forming three distinct environments! We have a lavishly illustrated overland setting, a series of very cool dungeon tiles for exploration of ruins, castles, crypts and more, with the Other Side of Midnight tiles concluding the set!

The Other Side of Midnight is the land of the Unseen! The world veiled from our eyes since long ago, and the domain of the fey, or the Aos Si! These are on the reverse of the overland and dungeon tiles to depict their otherworldly counterpart!

These tiles are also used to depict the Land of the Dead, for the gloomy vistas of the Other Side of Midnight are often mistaken for it! So there are some misty, dark graveyard tiles for example, and Standing Stones in an ethereal realm where vision is obscured and anything could leap out at you!

In future instalments of the game, we plan to expand on these environments, as you Pierce the Veil ever deeper!

All our gaming tiles were created by industry veteran Henning Ludvigsen! Henning has worked on some of the best designs around, from Bloodborne to Imperial Assault, he’s been around a long time and lent his incredible talent to some of our favourite projects!

Click on any of the tiles from this set to expand them and see them larger. They are a sample selection from the game, and are by no means all of them!

TILE TYPES

Largest of the tiles in the game, these depict the Throne room, Grave yard and other grand settlements.

You’ll note some of our tiles are L Shaped, some are Cross Sections. This is so when game effects rotate the areas in certain scenarios, that you can get to them easily to lift and rotate.

Some of our tokens add distinguishing features, such as the fountain, the well, or the unsettling soul cages of a bygone era!

MAP LAYOUT

These layouts are from existing scenarios, the first is called ‘The Strain of Lament’, and it is part one of ‘The Song of Sadness’ campaign.

Players journey with the Arch Druid through a magical portal to a far away place known as the Shrine of Cogar Deireadh. They find the site vandalised and in the midst of being looted! But is there something deeper going on here?

In the Thinning Veil, there is always more to it than meets the eye!

If the Heroes are successful in part one of the campain, then they find themselves once more teleported through time and space to the Halls of Remembrance! Here they must track a mysterious villain with an unknown agenda...
